Mayo Clinic describes it this way: “Nail fungus is a fungal infection in one or more of your nails. An infection with nail fungus may begin as a white or yellow spot under the tip of your fingernail or toenail. As the nail fungus spreads deeper into your nail, it may cause your nail to discolor, thicken and develop crumbling edges — an unsightly and potentially painful problem.”
It’s one of those issues you really don’t want to deal with because it’s not so significant you have to rush out and take care of it. However, if left untreated, it will create such problems as to make it difficult to walk if on your toes or make it difficult to hold things if on your fingers.
At A&R Pharmacy, treatment can be easy and painless with our topical nail lacquer because we reduce the liver problems associated with an internal medication and target the nail bed directly. It not only gets rid of the fungus, it helps to deaden the pain while you have it.
